Also, I now fixed the arm. I’m glad it didn’t seem strange to you! But once you started talking about arm and leg movements I couldn’t get it out of my head. So I hope it wasn’t in bad form, but I fixed it tonight I like the arm swinging, and I’m glad you talked arms, since I was just focused on the legs.

I fixed the “in between” mistake as well.

About critiquing – I don’t mind the pointing out of spelling or grammar, it’s very much appreciated, since I am very lazy with that. I don’t usually mind other critiques either, as long as you’re gentle I so appreciate you guys coming to read my strips. You don’t know how much it THRILLS me. I am truly honored that you guys take time out of your lives to visit my strip. So I know any thing you guys would have to say would only to be to help, and not because you want to be jerks

That said, I do have a thin skin, I guess especially since I’m so new at this and am easily scared. So don’t be afraid to point out things. Just… be kind. And I guess really nitpicking is unnecessary as of now. Maybe after a little while I’ll toughen up and will be able to handle more!

Scott: I did notice, but I felt it would be best to reserve my extreme nitpicking for the Panel Mammals – I don’t know Irma well enough to know how she’d take it.

me!: Hmm… I’m not sure I know Jarret or if he’s even found me, so perhaps I’m safe at the moment?

Scott: Thanks! I tend to agree, as long as it’s easy to understand who’s saying what, why not try any solution to get it to look as good as possible? And THANKS for noticing the typo! I’ll fix that when I get home tonight. I’m amazed I haven’t made mistakes that that before, I’m usually really bad with those things.

Leslie, Scott and me! – RE: walking animation: Thanks for noticing that! To be honest, I hadn’t thought about until the strip was almost complete. I sat back and looked at it and thought something was wrong. And that’s when I REALIZED it. And I actually felt panic-y that I almost put up a strip where I skipped over a detail like that. Now that I think about it, though, I should have made the friend’s arm swing forward in panel 2. I’ll remember that for next time!

The only chocolate I could get away with not sharing with my wife is dark chocolate. She hates the stuff.

(Editing comment: “Inbetween” should be two words in the third panel. Frankly I am shocked that me! didn’t jump all over that one.)

A lot of my strips involve my characters walking and talking and I painstakingly try to make their arms and legs “move”, so from one artist to another, good job on the details, even though no one really notices.
