28 – What’s in the coffee?

One of my fav comics, which I found right after I started Imy, is Stewart by Scott Metzger. It’s about a bison (NOT a buffalo) living in San Fransisco, and it’s freggin’ hysterical. I read it all the time, and I even got my husband into it. All of the characters in ‘Stewart’ are so lovable, flaws and all. But my favorite is Gary, the lisp-y snake (or lithpy thnake, rather). Gary is right now in the middle of his own story line, which starts right here. And I was very much inspired to cameo him into today’s strip, with permission of course.

Can’t get Gary’s link to work, apparently he is having some down time right now. But I will keep trying!

I guess you have to give one of the guy’s characters a cameo in your strip in order to get a plug from him on his site, huh? Just kidding, Scott…
Irma, I’ve been a regular reader of “Imy” since January and I think it’s an excellent strip. Solid characters, great comedy, beautiful art, and good writing. It’s always getting better, too. Wonderful work.
Oh, and regarding the strip where Imy says, “The ’90s rocked and you know it!” — I totally agree. “Seinfeld.” Grunge music. New “Calvin and Hobbes” format. What’s not to love?

As much as I like to see Gary slithering around on your site, I hope your computer problems will be resolved soon and you’ll be able to post a new comic. Best of luck and keep us posted…
