47 - Sign of Summer

I have been doing these one-off comics for a couple of weeks now just because I didn’t want to go into another storyline right away. But no worries, another one is coming up.

Also, I’m not going to have internet access Thursday (today… this post was post-dated), Friday or Saturday. So I won’t be online to answer comments or visit anyone else’s sites or anything. Also, about the answering bit, I’ve been SO INCREDIBLY busy this week I haven’t had time for much at all. I apologize, and things will be more normal again next week.

Happy Sweden’s National Day everyone! ;)

    Haha ^^
a daily problem fot those who take the subway. Luckely, that doesn’t involve me.

    Well… that’s another comic I’ve got to check on a bi-weekly basis!

Curse you Irma for featuring Gary from Stewart the Bison. And Curse Scott for lending you Gary… who I also curse for lending Gary to Pinkerton… which is where I came across Stewart!

Seriously I’ve got a couple of extra comics to read now and they’re all good.

Yeppers. That’s in the top 5 of why I’m glad I don’t ride the train anymore.

ROFL! Been there, smelled that! ;)

LOL! I had a similar experience this summer in Ocean City. Packed bus. Stinky people. One overly gassy elderly lady who, judging by the tune her rump was playing, was hard of hearing. You should’ve seen the mass exodus when that bus stopped.

Ha! I love the art, (and your cartooning style - it fits so perfectly with your writing) Irma, and the understated gag is just awesome. I am officially addicted to your strip! Keep ‘em coming!

Ha ha…I have this experience everyday on the bus. The line I ride happens to be the busiest in the city so it’s often packed. If it’s not stinky people, it’s annoying teenagers yelling “hey where you at?!” on their cellphones.

I’m back from my trip, so I can finally respond!

Katherine: Fortunately, I usually get on the subway early enough so that I get a seat. But, an alarming amount of people seem to forget to use deoderant anyway… And thank you!!1 :)
Tim: Haha! Glad I’ve lured you in! ;)
tbowl: Ah well i don’t really have much of a choice. It’s either train or… nothing else really! But I actually don’t mind it at all.. most of the time… (except for situations like above)

Leslie: LOL! I know you have” Especially since you have also ridden the Green Line - the warmest and unventilated line in the Stockholm subway system.

Wit: AHH! Ewe! And yes… busses are FAR worse than subways.

    me!: :-P
David: THANK YOU THANK YOU! :D
Scott M.: Like I said before, the bus is so much worse! I feel your pain.

David:: Thanks AGAIN!! I’m flattered :)

    I think I may gag… as I’m laughing my ass off. Luckily, I have a car… although at $4.11 a gallon for gas, I don’t know how much longer I’ll be driving! And I can’t use the AC… pfft… 105° already… I’m melting I tell you!
