Oh man… it’s a good thing cartoon characters can’t come to life. Otherwise I think mine would kill me for what I do to them. :)

Am I the only one who thinks their bandmate looks like Brian May? Hmm…

Oh and, “The Whammy Bar.” I am very proud of that :D

    You got a little typo there in Jay’s line of panel 2. And that line’s owesome: “Tighter than anything Imy owns.” Perfect.

    Whew…this strip reeks of whisky and hair spray.

    Nice one! I’d much rather hang out at The Whammy Bar than the Hover Bar (even though the Hover Bar has a nice view).

    Leslie: *gasp* Guitarist in Queen! Ok, to be honest, I had to look him up to get his name. I know he looked like him, just didn’t remember his name!

    wit: Ha! Yes, ALWAYS read everything first ;) Isn’t that what they teach you in school?

    tbowl: Man, these guys haven’t even hit the stage and they’re already getting requests? They must have a great PR guy!

    Scott G.: Ha thanks! But to be fair, it’s a just a Rock club, not strictly 80’s. The band, however, IS strictly 80’s.

    Scott M.: Seriously! You can’t get a lighter near these guys, unless you’re ready to stand back and guard your eyebrows. :D And yes, Imy and the gang are definitely “Whammy Bar” people. The Hover Bar just didn’t do it for them. That’s not to say it won’t show up again…

    But have you guys noticed the Hover Bar in the background of panel 1? Anyone?

    Mike - You’re comment just confirmed what I should have done. I had planned to have a panel showing the “backstage” door, which is where they actually are. But I couldn’t fit it so I figured it maybe wasn’t so important. But now I think other people are thinking the way you are… hmm…
