Okay, so… I’m still sick. This thing is just hanging on. And also? My friend caught it from me and so did my husband. So now he and I are both home from work. I haven’t left the house since I got home Wednesday afternoon. I haven’t been able to do much of anything at all except watch some TV. Today was the first day I was able to spend an extended period of time in front of the computer so I could do this strip. I need to get out of the house and see people again. I’m going out of my skull.
I just recently found out that there is a restaurant in Chicago that sells burgers with Rock Names…like the Slayer burger and whatnot. I gotta check that out!
Should be interesting to see if Kat’s ex calls her back.

Teresa – Actually, “Cafe Rawk” is inspired by an actual cafe that I used to frequent back in NJ (even though I worked at Starbucks – shhhhh ). Lovely little place. The walls are plastered in old concert posters, album plaques and record covers. And drinks on the menu are named things like “Dark Side of the Moo” (a mint hot chocolate I think). Great drinks, wonderful atmosphere. I REALLY miss that place.
