I usually try to do a strip everyone will understand. Today I clearly threw that rule out the window. But I had to do it! I’ve been planning to do an HP themed strip since last year when this movie was supposed to come out last fall. SO now I finally had my chance! YAY!
Saw HP:HBP yesterday! I really enjoyed it, but I think I need to see it a couple of more times before I get the full feel (I’ll wait for DVD though, probably). As expected, a lot of things were changed and/or cut, and it felt very long, but it was quite good overall.
And come back tomorrow for another Fanart Friday! This time I won’t forget to post it. I promise! I’m going to go schedule the post RIGHT NOW!

Maybe the girls & I will do that HP-A-Thon next week, then I’ll take them to see the new one… this week I’m buying tickets to a CKY concert, so it’ll have to wait LOL
Now for several comments…
1) Zoe as Harry? Why? Four words for you: Hermione with purple hair.
1b) Also, who’s Imy supposed to be? With the long red hair, the only match I’m thinking is Ginny.
2) I want that wand. It actually works.
3) OMG! Irises!
4) Now I want to know what Imy’s patronus would be. Zoe’s too. Mia’s would be a slug. Obviously.
5) Expletively fantastic! Love the big frame with Imy’s hair a-whirl and all. Great showcase of skill (that I wish I had). Though, the first 2 frames could be a bit better. What’s with the expressions in those? In the second one, Imy looks like she’s bored.
HAHAHA, cool strip. I’m not such a big fan of HP, but I still know enough to know what you’ were thinking…
In my country they haven’t put the HP movie on teathers, but I think this weekend they’ll do that. I hope I can see it.
Yeah! It is a really cool strip.
Love it, even though I’m no Harry Potter fan. I just love the design of this strip with the big picture in the middle and the story unfolding around it. Great job!!!!
I saw the movie opening night (a total first for me) and really enjoyed it. I haven’t read the book so I asked a friend who’s read it and she said only minor things were left out/changed. the theater I went to had a poster stating that at the end of the month they’d be having it in 3D so I’m totally going back to see that!
i’m going to see it tomorrow with tons of my friends but i won’t exactly be dressed Harry Potter style … ooo in grade 7 on book day (we dress up as someone from a book XD) i went as Cho Chang cuz i had an asian style shirt that i got in Las Vegas that year XD

First glimpse of Imy-witch and I thought it was another guest strip – she has blue eyes for cryssakes! Kinda surprised her robe doesn’t say “ROCK” – unless it’s written in parseltongue or something. Very, very cool.
I wonder what Imy’s patronus would be? A guitar? A rock star–but what one? Hmmn… Please don’t be a coffee pot! Oh I know…A PUPPY!

I don’t know why you were so worried about the punchline. I really enjoy the comic and love the art in this one. That big panel there, looks awesome!
