When I worked at Starbucks I had to get up at 4am. I didn’t hate it THAT much though. I could smile at people at 5 int he morning, and I was done with work at 1 every day

At first I thought Jay was just getting in at 4am from a late night and his door slamming just happened to wake Imy up at the right time. I missed the B at the beginning of his alarm buzz and thought he was pretending to be asleep “ZZZZ” when she clicked on the lights.
Your artistry, both in writing and illustrating, drew me into several hours of perusal. Here from Wapsi Square, and now a solid Imy fan–thank you! So many of your one-shots capture the emotion of my relationship with my husband (especially the goofiness), and your story lines flow beautifully.

Oh I’ve had those too. I don’t think I’ve ever hated an alarm more than I’ve hated those. Now I just use my iPhone which is a nice subtle buzz & ring.
Next update will have something to do with Jay and castration. I’m almost willing to bet on it.
