Man, I can smell that guy’s funk from here. Nice way of bringing the action straight thru my monitor. :)

Sad thing is I have gone the oppose route. I used to be a transit rat since I was young enough to take the bus alone. I have to drive for and to work now due to location and equipment issues.

The thing is I do not really miss public transit – waiting in the cold and rain – The Bus not showing up – The people that should be not out in public for various reasons, hygiene especially – No actual trains like you have over there … oh sure we have the GO system but that is designed for the downtown commuters and not for anybody else. …. aaand I’m on a rolling rant …. sorry ….. dress warm and wear a personal music player.

Yeah, I’m not too bothered about the metro actually! But the bus ride to the metro, I can live without (sometimes I bike, but with winter coming, I’d rather not bike) :D

Everywhere I have lived, the bus has been unsuitable for anyone not on welfare or a select few on minimum wage.

I use a bus or a tram across town to get to my (quite high paying) job daily. All my friends get to think I’m crazy for not getting a car, and I get to laugh at them when they complain about daily traffic jams and wasting 30 minutes to find a parking spot.

New York? If it’s not New York you are either in some other down town setting or a fluke. I’ve never had a bus system that could actually get me both to and from work. At least not without taking 3 times as long.
