My guest strip over at Spooky Doofus runs today! WOOHOO! If you haven’t been reading Spooky Doofus, well you really should be. The strips are seriously funny, and the art is pretty amazing. Ed has got to be my favorite ghost character in history.

Remember that? Comes from that story line that brought us Mick, our beloved fish in a coffee pot. Which starts here if you’re curious.

Still working on the book.. still eating into comic time… as you can tell. NO color! But it’s posted! And now I’m going to pass out.

Hey guys! I still have zero time for anything. I’m still working HARD on the book. But, I figured I couldn’t get away with taking another week off SO here’s the comic, albeit a bit delayed. It’s just how it’s going to be until I finish this thing! Which is hopefully SOON!!!

As of today there is 12½ weeks left until NYCC. That may sound like a lot, BUT IT’S NOT!!!!! Especially not for a worrier like me, who panics at the drop of a hat. Also, I think this is where the anxiety dreams are going to begin… I can just feel it…

Remember that cute little meter I posted up there to the left that would show book progress? Well, I can’t find that file anymore after I switched over to the mac, so I haven’t been able to update it. So I AM farther along than that meter says, but I’m no where near where I need to be right now.

This book is taking priority right now. I need to have it for the con, and I know there are a lot of you waiting for it. It’s going to have a lot of cool extras, besides just the first 100 Imy strips (all in color too), so it’s going to be fun to have.

But it needs to get done.

So, I NEED this week to dedicate to the book. I know a LOT of us here in the Northern Hemisphere are having a pretty HOT summer so far. It’s the warmest and stickiest summer I’ve ever felt in Sweden in my 8 summers here. So I figured that tossing a few Imy Summer Classics would be perfect for this.

Also, if you want to join in on the fun of the making of the book you can follow me on twitter, or “like” Imy on facebook to keep updated on when I will be drawing LIVE. I’ve done it quite a bit in the past few weeks, and people seem to have enjoyed it. It’s a chance to get a sneak peek at the extra book content, and to see a bit of my process.

AND, for some extra fun, Tom Racine, the golden voice of Tall Tale Radio, has started to post his old BookSmarts strips so everyone has a chance to see them. I think they’re pretty brilliant and I think you’ll get a kick our of them. SO make sure to check them out RIGHT HERE.

This GREAT fan at was sent to me by Marc. Marc doesn’t have any of his own projects up on the web yet, but I’ve heard rumors that they’re coming I actually got to watch Marc draw and color some of this live on Ustream! I haven’t had an fan art for a while, and now I have a whole bunch in waiting! And what better way to start it off than by posting the very first Cherry fan art?? This one is brought to us by Doug Keech of Fake Life Comic. Since I never give my characters eye colors, Doug usually does that on his own with his fan arts for me. He gave Cherry yellow eyes, wwhich is pretty cool I think! And she looks great! Thank you so much Doug!
