Alright, folks! Here we go!
After all the mess of the past 6 or so months, I’m finally getting things on track.
Let’s get right to the good stuff…the new “Imy” comics will launch on…..
Tuesday, March 28th!
Now for a little more info and in depth stuff…
First, the website:
As you can see, the website has been completely redone. it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time but just didn’t have the time for. In a bit of serendipity, my host upgraded some server stuff and completely broke my website some months back. As a result, I was forced to redo everything. It was a pain, but it was necessary anyway, and I see it as a blessing in disguise. I’m really happy with the new site too! There may be a few tweaks on some pages that I need to fix but those will be fixed as I come across them. Also, I’ve removed some of the pages I had before, like the webshop, for example. These will return once I’ve edited them how I’ve wanted. The only thing I’m not happy about is the archives. I am trying to get the list back to how I had it before.
Second, the posting schedule:
As of right now, “Imy” will only be posting once a week, and on Tuesdays. This is the ONLY way I can handle posting right now. I’ve mentioned it before but my current work life is just a pure mess. I have NO SCHEDULE. None. No routine. I know when I’m working only a small time in advance and last minute additions and changes happen all the time. It’s absolutely not what I want, and I hate how it messes with me mentally and physically. But it’s what I have right now and I have to work with it. Putting “Imy” at once a week will be the best way for me to be able to continuously update without cuts out in posting like I’ve had to do several times in the past year.
Third, merchandise:
I still have books and such in inventory, but I need to go through everything and count everything up again before I put stuff back up on the Etsy shop. Also, a short while back I mentioned briefly about making some smaller, lighter compilation books that will be cheaper to buy and to ship. I will be doing one for the upcoming SIS in Stockholm to start with, and then I’ll put it up on Etsy.
Fourth, upcoming cons:
I *will* have a table at SPX/SIS here in Stockholm like I do every year. NYCC is a hope, like every year, but it will be a long time before I have info on that. So far I have no other cons planned for tableing. (I’ll be going to SDCC but only as a spectator!) I’ll be posting more information about SPX/SIS soon!
