OK, so you’re probably wondering what’s going on here. This strip, for the first time EVER was done completely on paper with ink (except for the monotoned coloring, which was added in Photoshop). There are a few reasons for this.

1) I wanted to prove to myself (and the skeptics) that I can, in fact, DO IT ALL ON PAPER IF I WANTED TO.

2) Time constraints with the moving, and lack of full access to my computer inspired me to do the paper thing once and for all.

3) I wanted to give you something special while I spend the next week and a half in moving HELL.

I have ridiculous amounts to do this week. And this coming weekend is my move. So the next strip won’t go up until Thursday the 3rd of June. Anyone who’s moved understands. Anyone who hasn’t… well… one day you WILL move, and get it.

I am so pleased with how it came out. Is it perfect? Of course not. But this was my first time!!! The lettering is crap. Because lettering is FREGGIN’ HARD. It’s bad enough that my handwriting is horrible to begin with. The lines, in general, aren’t anywhere as smooth as usual, because adobe illustrator (the program I normally use to draw) is magic. I, however, am not.

But I’m still happy with it. Even if no one else likes it, I’m still patting myself on the back

Anywho, enough. See you guys on June 3rd!! And after that there will be NO MORE interruptions int he Imy/Cherry storyline!

So the con went really well! It was the opposite of last year. This year I sold most stuff on Sunday instead of Saturday, and had a better time on Sunday too. But it was all still fun, if not draining. I’ve been on go and lack of sleep ever since we got stranded in the Canaries. Of course, laying by the pool wasn’t exhausting, but everything else was. But it’s OK becasue we made it back safe and I don’t mind SPX induced exhaustion!

As for the web store, I will be re-opening it within the next couple of weeks. The new and old stuff will be there. I’ll have the new bookmarks there too (which I didn’t receive in time for the SPX due to the volcano). Also, and I think you guys will like this, I’m going to be doing t-shirts again. Now PLEASE go and read THIS POST about the t-shirts. Very important!

I just really wanted to do this one today! And sorry it’s up so late in the day. As you know, it’s been an extremely busy weekend, and I was really pressed for time.

I am writing a post all about the SPX, with pictures, but it’s not done yet. I have not had the time. But I promise it’ll be up some time tomorrow! Until then you can scroll down and be amused by me being passed out on my table

Yeah so…. like I said before, I’ve had stress situations which kept me away from drawing this week. So I started the Thursday strip late, and then I realized it was a lot more involved than originally thought. So… the gym storyline shall return on Monday

Hmm, I quite like myself in cartoon form… Anyway, Hope you guys don’t mind. Unless you think I’m making a huge mistake? I’m still developing my characters I guess. Actually… I’m having second thoughts… We’ll see how this goes… we’ll see where Imy takes this…
