This just reminds me, on the last day of April every year in Sweden we have a bonfires all over the country for Valborg (Walpurgis). I go to a huge one in the center of town every year by the water. It’s so big that everyone standing around it usually has to stand about 25 feet away. Any closer and you can feel your face melting off. One of these years I need to be very American about it and just take a marshmallow on a stick with me and see how close I can get and if it will toast :)

YAY! I’m back! Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great New Year. Here’s to 2012 being a better year for “Imy” in terms of NO ARM INJURIES and more :)

Also, “Imy” is one of more than a hundred female webcomic characters featured in the massive snowball fight wallpaper over at Comic Creators for Freedom. Which is a very important fundraiser against human trafficking. I will post more about this tomorrow. But, for now, follow that link and read up!

A couple of cool things:

First – Today you can also find Imy appearing over in one of Ed’s daydreams over at the horrifyingly charming Spooky Doofus by Marc Lapierre! It’s an adorable cameo and it’s not at all surprising that she’s where she is! And while you’re over there make sure to check out Spooky Doofus from the very beginning. It’s such a wonderful and fun comic that only started back in October so the archives are manageable for first-timers. And it’s just enough to get you hooked! Thanks so much Marc!

When I was drawing this my husband came over to look, and doubled over in laughter at “crazy lady with snowglobe,” which didn’t have any color or text or anything yet, so he didn’t know what it was for. Then it became the running joke for the rest of the evening in my house. Even if no one else likes it, I’ll always have that :D

The plan for this evening is to make an ‘Imy’ Christmas wallpaper. I finally have an idea (thanks to a friend & reader) and will take care of that tonight.
