Some Imy Art
Over the weekend I decided to do a the above little drawing of Imy. I wanted to do something a little more detailed, with a bit more depth. Something that would kind of make you feel like you’re looking at her a little more closely. I’m going to do this from time to time, just some random drawings when I feel like it.

Looks great. I especially like the use of highlighting the hair with the yellower shade.

tpiro: Thanks! Yeah, the yellow comes from highlighting while in CMYK. I never would have thought of it on my own! But the yellow really works great!

Okay I love this, I just have one problem with it. Just my opinion but I’ve never been anything but 100% honest so why start now.
Something about the lines for her eye lids throws me off. Kind of makes her look older than you’re trying to draw her. Or maybe stoned haha.
But honestly just a comment. I love your stuff cuz 🙂

For myself, I just couldn’t see the “old”-ness that you do, until I took the creases away and put the images side by side and looked at them together. I definitely see a difference, but I still don’t see her looking wrong, or too old, in the original. But thanks, and next time I’ll most likely try something different so that no one gets thrown off.
