Here we go! Another year at NYCC! Here’s the usual basic info:

Where:
Javits Convention Center, Manhattan, NYC

When:
October 9th – 12th

Hours:
Thursday: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM (will be there by opening, not sure I’ll make it to 7)
Friday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (may leave earlier than 5. Get to me early.)

Merchandise:
I will be selling the NEW “Imy Vol 5.0,” as well as all the previous books. I’ll also be selling sketchcards of “Imy” characters and other art, and many of my non-Imy related prints. AND I WILL be doing commissions! In fact, do you think you’ll want a commission from me? Get a head start on it and send me an email! (irma.illoluv (AT) gmail.com)

Marc Lapierre:
As usual I will be sharping table space with the amazing Marc Lapierre who is a great friend and one of the most talented people you’ll ever meet. You HAVE to come see his work. He has a distinct, beautiful style, and he’s one of the cleverest artists I know. You won’t be disappointed.

So come on by! Even if to just say “hi!” I LOVE to meet readers! It’s the most fun part of NYCC! And maybe pick up a book or some art too! 😉

Autumn 2014 – Spotty Updates due to Overwhelmed Schedule

Hey guys! My loyal readers!

Just here to give you a little info on what’s going on in the next 2 months.

Most importantly, Vol 5.0 is officially done, approved, and at the printers being made into real live books! WOOHOO! The completing of this book completely took over every single waking hour I had for the past week and a half and I am now trying desperately to catch up with everything else. I have LOADS of client work that hit me all at once and that’s the stuff that pays my bills so it’s getting priority.

On top of that I have 2 jam packed months ahead of me with plans including NYCC in October (more info on that soon) and I am going to be all over the place. I could make it easy on myself and just take 2 months off of Imy but I REALLY don’t want to do that. It would mean being VERY SAD for 2 months every time I visit my site! So I won’t. However, the updates WILL be spotty. As it is, I don’t even want that. I want to be able to hit every single update. But I can see it won’t happen. I have deadlines that I can’t ignore. I can’t say which days I’ll be able to update and which days I’ll have to skip. We’ll just all go with the flow together here. 🙂

Everything will return to normal in the beginning of November and, in addition to that, I can start talking about possible plans for MCM in LONDON! But we’ll get to that when I can.

I hope my readers can understand the upcoming spotty schedule (that’s sort of already started this past week). Imy is a labor of love and I still love doing it as much as I have from the beginning (actually… even more now), but some times you remember you should probably be able to eat and put a roof over your head and that’s going to take away a little bit of focus from time to time. 😉

Indiegogo SUCCESS!

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who contributed and spread the word about my campaign! I passed my goal of 700usd and made a total of 1215usd, and you all got books! Or you will soon!

As of right now, I am nearly completed with the book. I should have it sent off tot he printers as soon as TONIGHT. Everyone who ordered something that needs to be shipped will receive a bookmark with their order since I hit my first stretch goal as well.

Also, the campaign says to expect your order in January. I put that there just to leave room for any problems. But, if everything goes well, then you should have your perks long before then.

Thank you all SO MUCH! You really help in getting these books printed and I hope that when you receive your incentive that you’ll feel like it was worth it! 🙂
