Yup, you read that right.

This would have been my 4th year selling, and my 3rd year in Artists Alley. I was pretty certain I’d get a table some how, so it came as a shock when I found out that not only had I been denied, but so had every single super talented person that I know who applied.

Yeah. Figure that one out.

When I got the email last night I was absolutely crushed. So much so that I couldn’t get to sleep and ended up only sleeping 2 and a half hours for today. I look forward to selling at NYCC every year. It’s what I work up to. It’s the only con I can attend in the US. It’s really important to me. So it’s really upset me.

But not all hope is lost as of yet. Other options are being explored. And, for myself, no matter what happens, I am going to be walking that damned floor. My plane tickets and hotel were booked MONTHS ago. Hey, maybe I can have a few books in my bag and some of you can hunt me down to buy stuff.

If anything changes, I’ll let you guys know!

UPDATE: I’ve been accepted for a Pro Pass. SO, at the very least, I will absolutely be roaming the ail
