When I was a kid I was obsessed with rainbows. I drew them everywhere. And I drew them int eh correct color order fromt he very beginning. Even before I learned Roy G. Biv. It used to drive me CRAZY when other kids world draw their rainbows in random color orders. But I loved them, so I made sure to get them right.
I didn’t see my first rainbow until I was 4 years old, back in 1985. I remember it very clearly because I had loved rainbows so much, I was dying to see one. I was in our Winnebago with my mom, dad, brother, sister and brother’s girlfriend. We were driving cross country from NJ to Cali and back for a two week vacation. And we were somewhere in the plains, possible Oklahoma, when we went through a strong thunderstorm. And there, on the other side of the storm, was my very first rainbow. It is one of the very first really HAPPY memories I have. 🙂
love the comic Irma! I make good come backs!!! and happy belated birthday to Imy!!! and I’m 10 and proud to say I LOVE UNICORNS AND RAINBOWS!!!
I kind of expected the lines to be reversed, and end with Imy saying somthing about how she was cooler and awesomer and more creative than Mia. 😛
Oh, nevermind that’s Kat…I fail. X_x
Loved this one! I appreciate how adamant you were at that age. AND I’m really enjoying my Imy book!
Hi Irma,
I found your comic strip while doing a Google search for “no snow”. Could I have your permission to post this http://www.imycomic.com/2007/11/25/no-snow/ on my blog, with credits, of course? I’ll wait to hear from you.
Thanks.
