Yea, horrid writing all around, though the series actually did have something like a story line compared to what He-Man put on the screen.
Then again She-Ra was designed so over the top it was Marry-Sue from start to finish. He-Man was the most powerful being in the universe armed with a magic sword, rode Battle Cat as transportation and answered to the Sorceress, but she was stronger, faster, had a shield, fired beams from her bigger sword, and rode a winged flying unicorn and was answerable only to herself for most of the story.
Gee I can really geek out on this stuff. I liked Visionaries better anyways.
Duh.
(Though honestly, She-Ra’s theme music was HORRID. “For the honor of love/We have the power/So can you” WHAT?
