Fan art by Indigo

This is actually the second fan art I’ve received by Indigo! The first one was this one which she sent me almost exactly 6 months ago. This one came as a complete surprise and I love it! And this is Imy through and through!! Cute outfit too. I might borrow that idea for the desktop I’ll be working on! Indigo does the blog-type-comic Orchid Colored Glasses (and this one makes me LOL). You should check it out!

TGT Webcomics Interview!

On Friday night (or eaaarrrrlllyy Saturday morning on this side of the pond), I had a live podcast interview with Kurt Sasso over at TGT Webcomics! The co-hosts were the lovely Samantha Wikan of Life’s a Witchand Byron Wilkins of 1977. Together we kicked off the TGT Webcomics theme month – Influential Women of Webcomics! It was a blast! Kurt and the gang were a lot of fun to talk to, and were great and keeping the convo moving when my exhaustion stareted kicking in. So go give it a listen and let me know what you think!

Happy Birthday Imy!

Happy Birthday Imy!

With a shock, I just realized about 2 minutes ago that today is the 2 year anniversary of this comic! Two years ago today I posted this comic, which actually rings quite true currently here in Stockholm. 🙂

I can’t believe I’ve been doing this for two years. I never had the idea that it would grow to be what it is today. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I’m so proud of this, and how I’m able to keep up with it (even if I sometimes post later on posting days, I still stick to my schedule! ALWAYS!)

And #200 is coming up fast! That’s the craziest bit!

I mentioned a while ago on Twitter & Facebook that I wanted to do a little contest this fall where I give away original art. Time is fleeting and Ih aven’t come up with anything yet, but I really want to. I’ll give it a good thought this week.

Anyway, back the original point…

Thanks to my readers for sticking with me for so long and spreading the word. I try to answer comments when I can, but even when I don’t, please know that I appreciate everything you guys say!

So I raise my virtual beer mug (at 10:30 in the morning? sure, why not? 😉 ) and toast ‘Imy’ and all of you!

Two years! WOO! And no signs of stopping!

New Featured Desktop Wallpaper!

I finally made something that could be featured until I come up with some holiday and winter themes ones. And the great thing about this one is that it matched the current header 🙂 I hope you guys enjoy it! As usual, it’s available in a variety of sizes, including iPHone/iPod touch! Time to Vote!

For the month of October people were writing in their nominations for comics in the various categories of the WCRCAs. I got a few very wonderful nominations (thank you guys so much!!) and now it’s time for VOTING! ‘Imy’ is up for the protagonist category (Imy as the protagonist, of course), and I’m also up for the Design category! Also, Tall Tale Features is up for Community Site. So I’d appreciate it very much (assuming you think we’re worthy) if you’d go and cast your votes for us! And you can do that RIGHT HERE!
