34 - The Protégé

Me! asked in the last strip’s comments how much this comic is actually based on my own life. That’s the million dollar question isn’t it? Well, instead of answering here, I’ll answer it on an “about” page that I talked about doing a short while ago. That’s my project for this weekend. So you’ll be able to check that out next time. In the mean time, I hope you enjoy today’s strip. I just can’t get off those music references…

It could have been a much worse 3 hours; she could have been singing Rod Stewart.

I also was wondering how much of this is based on your life–especially given Imy’s rant about the big sister who’s always telling her how to live her life.

Great expression on Imy in the second panel.

I have my kid memorizing songs from the 60s. We need to work up to the White Stripes. Måns just wants me to introduce him to the 80s. Though, he does know and like Depeche Mode, so that’s a start. “Peche Mode!”

This one reminds me of Lavender and her niece!!! Great comic strip!

I asked the million dollar question, so I guess I should be expecting my check soon.

The way Imy’s sister is holding the baby, I first thought she was breastfeeding. Walking in on that and starting a conversation would probably throw Imy for a loop.

Haha! Sure, I’m sending it out today, but it’s going to be post-dated by about 100 years. Is that alright? ;)
Breast feeding? LMAO. I’ve never seen anyone breastfeed like that, especially since the breast would have to be attached to her neck for that to work…

You mean breasts aren’t attached at the neck? I’ll NEVER figure out the mysteries of women!
