I find it interesting how some comics seem to be made for the purpose of getting a laugh while others really express a feeling. This comic seems to be the latter. What inspired you to draw this one?

James – I wish I had some profound reason for drawing this one, but I don’t. Instead, I was walking around the apartment Sunday morning wondering what I should Monday’s comic on. I knew I wanted it to be a music-related one, but I had no ideas. Then my husband showed me the back of the milk carton which had a drawing of an alien in a spaceship on it and then the above idea just popped into my head. That’s jsut how it usually works!
Jakelives, me!, Teresa – Considering the fact that it’s Imy’s own imagination, then I think the alien music would suit her just fine!
Nick – Haha! THanks! Yeah her hair is definitely a defining feature!
Mirka – You’re right! That floaty position she’s in is quite mermaidish!

JakeLives beat me to that thought. Alien music could be all Yanni and boy bands, or Yanni boy bands. (ooh, just got a bad shiver)
Imy has the best hair in webcomics. I’m just sayin’.
