When we were first married, I moved cross-country from Michigan to Idaho to live closer to my wife’s parents. It was a four day road trip in a moving truck. Every morning, we’d get an early start, and after about 30 minutes on the road, Sara would suddenly drop off, sound asleep (once in the middle of a sentence), despite having slept the entire night in the hotel. Eight hours later, as soon as I slowed down to exit the highway for the night, she’d suddenly snap awake (once picking up her sentence right where she’d fallen asleep!).
Sounds about right. That’s why I take these trips on a motorcycle, the ride is a lot more fun and a lot harder to fall asleep during.
This is any road trip I’ve ever had with my wife.

Ha! Sadly, I can also fall asleep very quickly once in the passengers seat of the car. I prefer to drive. Besides, I love driving!
I assumed Imy was driving. Not really the ideal road for that state.
