For the record, my answer to that question would Be Sammy Hagar. Don’t get me wrong, I love the classic Van Halen too. How could you not like Diamond Dave? But I’m a MASSIVE Sammy fan, and loved what he brought to Van Halen. Even though Aerosmith is my favorite band, and I’ve seen them live at least 11 times, that one time Sammy brought the Cabo Wabo to Irving Plaza in NYC in ’02, and I was front and center, is probably the best concert I’ve ever been to… (and not just because of the copious amounts of Cabo Wabo tequila)…

Nice! “S’up”….
This is how I felt when my niece was born. I wanted to ‘bond’ with her and all that but I felt very uncomfortable holding a newborn. Afraid to stick my finger in the soft spot on the head or something. I got used to it, though.
LMFAO… “S’up” It’s perfect! I can’t stop giggling! S’up… to a baby… heeheeeee
lol! Love it! S’up! haha!
Guess who’s back to comment again!! This one made me literally LOL and spit iced tea all over my keyboard. 😉
I absolutely love the baby’s face in the first panel (I want to hug him!!), and Mia’s expression in the third. You are awesome at conveying emotions!!
I was having this debate again on Friday. I say Hagar because which one has been successful solo? I mean Van Halen are their own solo supergroup but Hagar is A-list by himself. I’m all about Dave but man… Hagar has some good solo goodies too. So VH + Hagar = teh win!
Scott, Luna, Leslie: Hehe thanks! Didn’t know the “s’up” would be such a hit! I actually almost took it out because I was afraid it wouldn’t work, but my husband told me I should absolutely leave it in. I guess he was right…. this time 😉
Amanda N.: Welcome back Amanda! I hope your keyboard has survived the ice tea 😉 And thanks! I figure, I know I can do the expressions so I try to do that best. And then follow with the bodies to the best of my ability, if needed…
tbowl: DING DING DING. We have a winner!! Tbowl, you rock. You are my new best friend 😀
I think the baby drooling kind of goes with the rock and roll question. Maybe he’s doing an impression. 🙂
But my vote goes for David Lee Roth. PANAMA!!!!!!!
I wouldn’t say Panama was his best, I’d say Jump, but you put Jump against like… Judgement Day… Humans Being or … hell lets face it, you listen to the band to hear the guitar and drums… Van Halen Made Roth, Hagar made Hagar.
Holy crap I could listen to Judgement Day end to end forever…
having older siblings, I KNOW how this jams. (and for your edification, although Diamond Dave was OK, it was the red rocker Sammy Hagar that made Van Halen what it is/was)
