Of broken pens and schedules
I just found a crack in my Wacom mouse pen. I’m so upset about it that I refuse to do my Monday strip!
Ok, that’s not true. While, there is a crack, I’m not that’s upset about it. I don’t think it’s terminal. I don’t even know how long it’s been there. I hope it doesn’t get any bigger, I wouldn’t even know where to begin to replace it. It’s hard enough as it is to find those tablets to buy here in Sweden. Ah well, we’ll see. (update: found it on Amazon. Now I know I can get it if I need it! Even if I have to dish out for stupid VAT)
Anyway, the real reason why I’m breaking my schedule this week is because I unexpectedly had much less time than was planned this weekend. And that time I did had free was spent recovering from the other bits. And also, other things are going on that just have not let me actually use my cracked wacom pen at all. Anyway, this does give me time to move things back to Thursday and continue from there. So sorry!
I know eventually problems like this can be avoided once I am able to get myself ahead of my strips by a week or two. I just don’t know when I will have that chance just yet.
Anyway, see you Thursday!

well, they don’t have just the pen on amazon uk but it comes without massive skatt
also, try canada. Simon orders stuff from there and usually doesn’t get hit with VAT.
Technology will get you everytime. I feel strange about using a freakin’ mechanical pen. My head would explode if I used a Wacom
Duck: I don’t think I’d buy a whole new tablet since mine works just fine. Besides, it might STILL come with VAT, since a lot of the time those things are imported anyway! Tyvärr…
If I ever do need a replacement, I can always have it sent to my mom, and she can send it to me.
Wit: Haha! Well, see, the thing is, I am a digital artist first and foremost. It’s where I really got my start and where I developed my abilities. Everything I draw is on the computer. In fact, I’m so much the digital artist, that when I did my paintings for my living room and kitchen, I drew mock-ups of them on the computer first! I’m not so good and the pen and paper stuff. You can see some pen and paper stuff I tried out a short while back in one of my Facebook albums. I’m just far more comfortable with my digital drawing. It’s a totally different way of doing it.
