Fan Art Friday by Rachel Degelbeck

Finally! Someone did a fan art on someone other than Imy! I’m surprised it took so long, considering the popularity of both Zoe and Kat. Rachel did a fantastic job depicting Zoe as a puppet, don’tchathink? It’s so cute, Rachel! Thank you so much! Rachel has recently ventured into the webcomic world with her adorable, brightly colored comic: Comics per Mouse. I look forward to seeing how her comic grows over time
I would LOVE to have more fan art! Are you interested in making me a fan art and being featured on Friday Fan Art? Then just read the simple rules here, and get to work!

So it’s looking like the t-shirt sales might happen sooner than I expected. I’m waiting for a final quote from someone, and I’ll make the decision from there, but so far I have my fingers crossed and it’s looking promising.
So, this is what I need. I need to know how many people are seriously interested in buying a t-shirt. I’m not locking anyone in right now with pre-orders, I just want a rough sum so that I know how many I need to order beforehand. I can’t really say how much right now, becasue I’m going to have to go to the post office and check up on shipping costs, and I’m still waiting for the quote. But I can tell you that it’s defintiely going to be cheaper than CafePress, including shipping.
I will, of course, be ordering more than the estimate, in the case of those people that aren’t serious about it now and will want one later. Also, if I end up using this place, it’s not a problem for me to go get more if needed, so don’t think that there is just a “limited” amount.
So, you can do it in the comments here, or you can send me an email privately: irma(AT)imycomic.com. Please let me know if you are seriously interested in buying a t-shirt, and if you can, please throw in your t-shirt size (not necessary, but it would help me out in knowing what I need). I will have size specifications up once I can so you can be sure to order the correct size when you are able to order.
All of this is just so I can get a rough estimate on how many I should order and what sort of sizes I should get. This is NOT locking you into anything. I won’t hold it against you if you change your mind
Even if you’ve mentioned to me before that you are interested, please send me an email about it now as well, becasue there is no promising that I remembered!
UPDATE: The latest news on the t-shirt styles and sizes are this: At the moment I am only selling classic unisex t-shirt style from XS-XXL. On Friday (the 27th) I will be checking about the possibility of a fitted style and more sizes. I don’t know how possible any of that is, but I will keep you updated.
Alanna sent this to me last night and it was a wonderful surprise! Alanna is a fan who is working on trying to start a webcomic of her own (I’m looking forward to see what she comes up with!). Thanks so much Alanna, and lots of luck to you on your comic endeavors!

So, like I mentioned in Thursday’s post, I had an interview with Tom Racine for Tall Tale Radio. Despite the fact that I was SO NERVOUS before the show, I really had a blast doing it and I can’t wait until I can do it again! Tom is awesome and definitely knows how to get people to talk (and has a voice that can make you easily fall into a hypnotic state). He asked a lot about me and my comic. There is a lot in there about my background, which I think is a good base to see where my ideas come from. I’ve listened to it now and I don’t feel like I’ve embarrassed myself much at all! Which is a good sign, I think
EXCITING!!!
Anyway, I really hope you all take a little time out to listen. You get to put a voice to the name, and probably laugh at stupid things I say (and the fact that I laugh often). Like I said, I thought it was a bunch of fun, and I hope you guys do too.
Want to listen? You can stream it or download it (put it on your mp3 player! Listen on your way to work or what-have-you!) right here: Tall Tale Radio – Episode 11. And then let Tom and me know what you thought!
