I loved doing that “Imy meets Jay” story line, but MAN it feels good to just do whatever I want right now
Once again I’d like to thank you all for sticking me through that whole story. I’m glad so many of you seemed to like it as much as I did. I had a blast doing it!
Oh and I’ve finally replied to the wonderful comments on Monday’s strip!
Ive had those days
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!
and…
ahem…
thats all i have to say
…*snigger*
I don’t know about the others, but I had a blast reading it!
And for today’s strip: As one who can get up at the alarm, take No-Doz (200mg caffeine) and go back to sleep, there are times when there’s nothing a barista can do. It really isn’t her fault.
Haha, Imy is like me this morning
When I’ve read the title I thought Imy is trying to get a new job
LOLZ
just give her a napkin for a blanket and let her sleep.
Isn’t that what we all jsut want? Just let us SLEEP dammit!
I need to show this to my ex-barista sister.
I loved the last story line and don’t worry, I felt the same way when I did my summer spanning Red Skirts story.
I love this one Irma it just keeps making me laugh!!!
Nice Dobro on the wall too! Funny story, I was in a coffee shop two days ago and the barista had pink hair.
Get out of my head, woman!
Dammit, I was hoping you wouldn’t notice I’d been rummaging around in your head. I’ll have to use more stealth next time.
dont get me wrong I loved the storyline about Summer..but.. it is awesome to have again these single funny stories
I agree!
hahahahaha!
so a barista’s job is to keep people awake, and a bartender’s job is to get people to pass out. I get it.
Sounds right to me!
Question (and I apologize if you’ve already answered it) – How is “Imy” pronounced? Also, I love the combo of stand-alones and the storylines – I was a big fan of the stolen coffee pot. Definitely subscribed!
I have mentioned it before, but very rarely and I’m sure most people don’t know. I used to have it on the sidebar but forgot to put it back with the redesign. I’ll have to put it back later!
It’s “Eeemee”
I ran into this little fact a while ago, and then forgot: In Japanese, “imi” (same pronunciation, different spelling) means “meaning, sense, significance” – makes sense to me.
Cool! Thanks Irma! Also, that’s a cool Japanese meaning!
There comes a point of diminishing returns in coffee consumption, I have done extensive research on this matter!
Yes so have I – practical research
ok that settles it lol i need another barista job. i can look at that table and not onlyy give a pretty good guess as to what those drinks are/ were but also tell you how to make them
Haha! Then I’ve been a good ex-barista myself and drew them right!
I’m hip; coffee makes me sleepy too.
