193 – Snowglobe
When I was drawing this my husband came over to look, and doubled over in laughter at “crazy lady with snowglobe,” which didn’t have any color or text or anything yet, so he didn’t know what it was for. Then it became the running joke for the rest of the evening in my house. Even if no one else likes it, I’ll always have that 😀
The plan for this evening is to make an ‘Imy’ Christmas wallpaper. I finally have an idea (thanks to a friend & reader) and will take care of that tonight.
Haha, I knew it was going to be a flashback since you posted that sneak peek.
I’m gonna go shake my snowglobe, see if I can make it snow outside 🙂
Hope it works for you! It finally snowed here, and I didn’t have to resort to snowglobes!
I love Imy logic!
comic or real life? i think it’s a little of both.
You are most correct, sir.
Ah, childhood cause-and-effect and magical thinking. 😉
Very cute!
heh, well from across the pond in the other land of ice and snow 😉 We up here in SW Canada haven’t gotten any snow yet and when Canada runs out of snow you know you’re not in for a White Christmas 😉
We finally got some! I think the snow fairy decided to go backwards this year… since apparently she thought Texas should be first!
😀
As was my comment for the last 4-5 strips.
A smile is all I ask for! 🙂
LOL! I love it!
I relate very much to this. Growing up in Cleveland, a white Christmas, not to mention Thanksgiving and sometimes Halloween, was common. Moved to Philly, not so much. More like wet, dreary and windy.
what a cute kid Imy!
Thanks! Yeah I love drawing kid Imy. The more I draw her the cuter she gets 😀
Awww! Kid Imy is so CUTE! You should draw her more often.
My little brother got his first day off of school with the first snow of the season on Tuesday. I remember because I had a dreaded final… despite near impassable roads.
LMAO… Just adorable! So, by Imy logic… if I go shake all of Nikki’s snow globes, we’ll get snow here in Phoenix? So on it!
Some lone snow flakes here, but the temps are at least down to freeze. 🙂
I LOVE this one. Wonderful!! And dammit, Irma, quit copying my avatars all over the place! HAHAHA!! First the Andorian and now the Santa hats! I’m gonna make a shirtless avatar just to see if you follow suit! (or, unsuit, as it were). LOL
Well Colorado’s going berserk with the snow…maybe we’re the ones stealing your snow? 😉 We had snow on the last day of summer. Then, right after fall break, we went to school on Monday 10/26 and that following Tuesday, then we were out for a five-day weekend due to snow. The houses on the south side of the street have had snow on their lawns since then. I’m seeing how long it takes to melt. My guess is February or March or so. And now tomorrow (Thursday) is my last day before winter break. Go ahead, you can have your snow back. Sorry, we don’t deliver. 😉
I love that it’s the same snowglobe after 22 years. One of my snowglobes got wads of hair in it after 15 years. 🙁 Don’t ask how, cuz I don’t know.
Are you happy now, Irma and Imy!? 😉
