Progress report

I’ll keep it short this time since I know that you really don’t care to know every detail about what I’m doing to heal myself up. 
I am cautiously optimistic about my recovery. It’s just SLOW. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate all of your support. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. It’s nice to know that you guys care more about my health than the next “Imy.” But I know you’re waiting for it too. Believe me, SO AM I! I just can’t set a date on it right now.
I just wanted to put this out there since I said I’d keep you updated. Thanks again for being so understanding!
I expect you to take at least 6 weeks off otherwise you risk losing the drawing for the rest of your life.
FFS rest Imy won’t age while you heal
I agree with sparkyjay23! I know it must be frustrating, but we are patient fans!
Hi Irma, thank you for the update. You don’t have to set a date. We certainly do age, but I am sure Imy will be back sooner than we can see the difference in the mirror.

Np irma, heal up and take care of yourself. Listen to some classic rock while your healing, it helps.
The Beatles, Led Zepplin, Janis Joplin, Jimmi Hendrix and the Experience, Pink Floyd, The Who, Boston, Black Sabbath, Elton John, (young elton)….and RUSH! lots and lots of RUSH! XD
But don’t play any air guitar while listening to that music. Maybe find something that won’t tempt you.
Just keep getting better! I’d rather wait an age for new Imy than see you do more damage to yourself!

Imy is one of my favorite webcomics, thank you for your creative work!
I encourage you to continue being careful in your recovery. I have experienced repetitive stress problems. In my experience, it is much easier to get an injury than to recover from one – so don’t take any chances. Once I incapacitated myself just peeling carrots. An ergonomic workstation is a must, as is attention to how you are positioning your hands/arms for work, rest, and sleep.
