A theme song for imy…..hmmm….let’s see, she’s wild, fearless, energetic, strong, she has fiery red hair, and she’s ready for the world……”Cherry Bomb” by The Runaways.
OK, start out with the melody from Paul Simon’s, “Loves Me Like A Rock” … then crank up the tempo, crank up the volume, and get some new lyrics:
When she was just a girl (just a girl)
She dreamed of rockin’ fame! (rockin’ fame)
Her mom said, “When are …
When are you gonna grow up?”
She hasn’t grown up in the least!
She’s lovin’ nature and she loves her niece,
Her niece who loves her, loves, her,
Gets down on her knees and hugs her!
Yeah, the girl sure loves to ROCK!
She’s rockin’, she’s a rockin’ lady, she’s IMY!!
(freeze frame on Imy’s smile as we hold the last note …)
Haha! While that t-shirt that you are all suggestion could work, it still doesn’t do exactly what Imy wants. AUTOMATIC theme music playing 😉 Also, it’ll take over her classic tee, taking a part of Imy away with it! That doesn’t mean that she probably wouldn’t go out and buy one of these, though 😉
If there isn’t, then there certainly should be an app for that! It can’t be that hard, just preset a couple of rooms and save those gps coordinates. When you next walk in there, bam! Theme song! Not 100% automatic but better than nothing I guess. Just have to be careful not to mess it up and blast something inappropriate in public…
Theme song for the comic is Aerosmith’s Sweet Emotion, hands down.
For Imy herself is a bit more tricky, though I’d probably have to go with…
hmm…
take the guitar solos from Pinball Wizard, the gritty minor key drive of Paint It Black, put Lars Ulrich on drums, and have Journey sing five-part harmony to lyrics by The Beatles.
“And Wendy has stormy eyes that flash at the sound of lies, and Wendy has wings to fly…”
“Hey now, you’re a rockstar, get the show on, get paid”
“I love rock n’ roll, so put another dime in the jukebox, baby!”
“If only I could have a puppy, I’d call myself so very lucky”
“I’ll never grow up, I don’t wanna grow up! I don’t wanna wear a tie….”
I like the Puppy Song best…
Imagine you find a jinn and you make a wish about your own theme music, and he gives you a vuvuzela sound…
HAHAHA!!!! Excellent 😉

For some reason, I hear Foo Fighters.
Of course that could be because I’ve been listening to them nonstop since the new album came out. LOL
Woo! Foo! But which one? 🙂

I’ll admit, I didn’t know that song! Just listened to it. I can see how it would fit her! 😉

Just…….. BRILLIANT. BRAVO, Eddurd!! You gave her her own song!!!
made me smile, 😀
That’s all I want! 🙂
I hate to burst your bubble Imy, but take a peak at this:

I don’t know about a theme song though.
Theme song for Imy? Um, how about Led Zeppelin’s “Rock and Roll” (a.k.a. Been A Long Time)
Good one!

The chorus of AC/DC’s Highway to Hell, just as the singing comes in. Maybe a little cliche, but I think it fits.
Hahaha I think it fits too 😉

Get on that! You’ll make millions! 😉
For some reason, when I’ve read the strip, I imagined Imy walking into a room with this playing, haha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpY2c6mnOwQ
Ha!! Maybe because you’ve actually seen her in a Darth Vader costume? 🙂
I think the phone app Locale could do what Imy wants. http://www.twofortyfouram.com/product.html
Oh! Just a bit of reprogramming and that could work!
Why not bribe your significant other to play it when you walk into the room? 🙂
But then Jay would have to be with her wherever she goes. Also, he’d probably refuse 😉

Alternately, Green Day’s “She’s A Rebel”
Actually, 3 of those 5 are now consigned to the analog folks home… how long before the CD and the MP3 follow suit? da da DAAA!!
