317 – BBQ Some More

We don’t have graham crackers in Sweden (unless we find a place that imports them), and in this case I don’t think digestives are good replacements. A friend suggested trying them with Anna’s gingerbread cookies. I think that sounds like a GREAT idea. New Midsommar tradition maybe? 😉

Att göra Graham crackers, vispa två och en halv koppar Grahamsmjöl tillsammans med en tesked salt, en halv tesked bakpulver, och en nypa kanel, om så önskas. I en separat skål, grädde fyra matskedar smör med sex matskedar brunt socker, och lägg sedan till ett ägg. Lägg kvart kopp melass eller honung, rör om att kombinera och blanda de våta ingredienserna med de torra ingredienserna till en hård deg. Rulla ut degen till önskad tjocklek och skär den i rektanglar. Pierce varje rektangel med en gaffel så att Graham crackers blir krispiga när de är klara, och grädda dem i 350 grader Fahrenheit (177 grader) tills gyllenbrun, cirka nio minuter. Foder bageri-ark med pergamentpapper gör det lättare att ta bort färdiga crackers.
