I have been adopted by numerous cats and kittens, twice by baby squirrels that fell out of their trees. Once we were adopted by a quite young raccoon that also woke up early from her hibernation and ended up on our doorstep. She was a regular around the homestead for over a decade, much to the disgust (and respect) of our cats.
But, a hedgehog sure sounds rather cute and interesting. Might have to look into what hedgehog options are available & legal in the U.S.
But, of course, the REAL question is: How is Mick going to adapt to competition?
