42 – You Don’t Fool Me
OK, I know a lot of people thought Monday’s strip was the end of the story line. Well, now you know it wasn’t 🙂 This one is. I had fun with this storyline! I especially like the new characters I brought in. You won’t see them for a while of course, but be sure that they will be back.
For anyone who wants to read this storyline from the beginning, you can start here: #31 – Little Green Man
The funny thing is that #31 was supposed to be a stand-alone strip. But a friend of mine sparked my imagination and it ended up turning into a 12-strip storyline. Who’da thunk that a little spark would go so far?
On a different note, Pinkerton just ended up celebrating it’s 200th strip! After 200 strips he’s got quite a large fanbase and opportunities opening up in front of him. And Mike Witmer deserves the praise. Pinkerton is one of the best comic strips I’ve read. Lovable characters and great writing. If you’re not reading Pinkerton already then, well, you haven’t lived! Now go praise his genius. Even if he does think listening to Steven Tyler could drive someone crazy (blasphemy!! I haven’t yet recovered from that statement).
I really like her expression in the last panel. I can hear her saying ‘Ta-DAH!’
She’s saying, “WINNARRRRR!!!!!!!!!!”
Really funny! I like Jay’s expression in the 4th/5th panel when he realizes what Imy has done. 🙂
Great comic. And THANKS for the Stumble shout out! You Rock!
As usual, you nailed the facial expressions. I second what Bill said – Imy’s expression in the last panel is great. I like how she doesn’t even know her nephew’s name – and doesn’t care.
cool! love Imys rockband t-shirts. it kinda shows her personality ;D
Hey, if Imy’s hair is red, Why not let Zoe’s hair be purple; Welcome to the new milllenium, Jay.
