So ridiculously true. I did some hiring a few years back for a very small business (6th employee I think it was). It’s AMAZING the number of replies one gets and astonishing how many shoot themselves in the foot by not giving me any reason to open their resume in the email body (sorry, when I have to filter through 300 in a day I’m NOT cutting anyone ANY slack).
