That guy must really like the taste of coffee that’s been spat in.
I would have replied, “Not according to my last customer!”.
When it happened to me, that’s pretty much how I replied!

A couple is 2. A few is 3.
A few can also be 4. Several is 7. Apparently if you want 5 or 6 of something, your have to be very specific.
And yeah, if you wanted 3, ask for 3 unless the server knows you. Duh…
