As I re-read my comment, I too sense the sarcasm, but it was unintentional. I really do see that happening in real life, which is what makes it funny. Sorry!
Haha! OK. I actually asked my husband “Do you think he was being sarcastic?” and he said “No.” I should have listened to him!
Yes I can totally see it happening in real life too. But not to me. I usually clam up and smile stupidly. 😀
