You may recognize Doug from my comments for pretty much every strip. Doug’s been a loyal fan for quite some time now and today I have a fan art from him to show you! The no fingers thing makes me laugh becasue MAN do I hate drawing hands. I practice and practice and practice and they STILL make me crazy. Why are fingers so hard to draw? GAH!

So how flippin’ cool is this, right? The unbelievably talented David Reddick of Legend of Bill, Gene’s Journal, Rod & Barry (and Garfield!), and who I’ve pimped plenty of times here on this site, has made little ‘ole me a fanart! Well, we’re both Tall Tale Features, so maybe I shouldn’t knock myself SO much lower than him 
He did a freggin’ awesome job, didn’t he? I ADORE IT!!! I’m not too sure what Jay thinks about Imy holding his guitar here though… But, jeebus, how cool is ‘Imy’ when Reddickized? I won’t be able to stop looking at this all day. Thank you SO MUCH DAVID!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Go give David some love. He’s a really cool guy, a HUGE inspiration, and I’m honored to call him my friend.

So, I’m still feeling pretty crap. But at least the fever has passed. It’s now been exchanged for a cough that hurts so badly I want to cry. I think I’d rather have that fever back It’s still very hard for me to sit at the computer (so that update isn’t happening. Everything will be back to normal on Monday), and I’m dying to go crawl into my bed right now, but I couldn’t possibly miss announcing this!
A while back a bunch of guys who make my favorite comics online decided to get together and form a collective. One with the goal of promotion and pushing each other to do better and keep active. The amount of talent among all of them is almost too much to bear, and one could only dream of being considered as “one of them.”
Well, last week I got an email from them asking if I’d like to join them. I promise you, when I read that email I LEAPT off my chair and skipped around the room. Cross my heart. OH. HELL. YES. And so, “Imy” is now officially a Tall Tale Feature!
I can’t even begin to tell you what a huge honor this is! I still can’t fathom that they want me to be a part of their collective. It’s like finally being accepted with the cool kids And it only helps to inspire me and push even more! (which is why it’s SO EMBARRASSING to have had to miss an update on the announcing day!). I will do whatever it takes to continue prove myself worthy. This is just FAR too cool!
We all blog on the TTF site, so you should check that out, and I’ll make sure to let you know when I’ve posted something. Also, I now have a forum! It’s at the bottom of the TTF Forum right heah! And you should make sure to keep an eye on the Tall Tale Features site for some cool stuff within the next week or so!
Now I ask… no DEMAND… that you guys go to my links section int he sidebar and visit all the Tall Tale Features. I’m sure many of you have come across some of those before. And you’ll see why I sit here pinching myself over and over again making sure this isn’t some NyQuil induced dream!
So this is one I promised a LONG time ago, and now I’ve finally done it! Remember that drawing I did in pencil and ink, which I then colored digitally? Yup. That one! It’s now available as a wallpaper.
