poor Imy, but who knows maybe he thinks first impressions are meaningless cuz they can be faked, its what you do afterwards that matters. (thats my opinion on things lol)

great to hear about the store openning !!!

  2. Mirka

I am just so sure I know the guy!..he is sooo familiar to me.. but anyway great strip…I like Imys face in the last one.. so shocked but I have a feeling like she is laughing in the same time :P

oh yes and nice store Irma.. good work..I like the look and the currency convertor , very useful:P..

  3. tyler_durden

if that happen to me i would just walk out the door with coffee pot still in hand.

  4. Tom

Imy’s looking pretty snappy in that outfit… darn those tricky handshakes!

  5. me!

Harsh. Very….very harsh. In reality, given the location of the burning, Mr. Grant would not have the capacity to form actual words at the present time. It would just be heightening degrees of “OUCH-OOCH-EECH-OCH!”

  6. Luna

Literally drumming my nails & hitting refresh on my email browser… waiting for client to pay me! LOL

Also… I love the look on Imy’s face in the last frame… cracks me up!

  7. Teresa

Oh crap!!! Great line from the guy…hahahah

  8. Trent Walker

At least Mr. Grant will never forget her. Imy might be able to redeem herself by grabbing a big handful of napkins to help the poor guy “clean up” the coffee stains. Wink. Wink.

    Business looks good on Imy.

OMG- that is something I would totally do. Right before my first interview, I suddenly got laryngitis, and coughed all over my interviewer, could barley talk about my portfolio… I was so embarrassed. Fast forward 5 years, now I work for that company!

    funny how things work out.

  10. Mike Racicot

Nice shot Imy.. lol..Shake hands with Mr Coffee..

  11. Nate Fakes

At least it wasn’t spilled ‘down’ his pants. That could’ve led to a lawsuit and impotence.

    Thaaaaat’s embarrassing.
Hilarious strip, and wonderfully conveyed with the art. I love where this storyline is going…is Imy unemployable? For some reason I didn’t really think of her as unemployed/living off of her boyfriend’s money. I mean, I know there was no workplace humor, but I guess I just assumed that she did…whatever it is that you do, Irma. haha.
(No offense intended towards your profession — I know you have a job in the music business, I just don’t understand what it is.)
    Keep up the great work!

    Hahaha great stuff Nate.

Gilly – i believe that too! Not sure about most employers though!

Mirka – Haha! Maybe I took someone from your life to be her boss? :)

    Tyler – heh heh!

Tom – Maybe if you can tell HER that she won’t hate it as much!

me! – So true! I considered just giving him the “ARGH,” but I thought the dialog would be more fun :)

Luna – The client hasn’t paid you yet? Show me his kneecaps!!!! :)

    Teresa – Thanks!

Trent Walker – Ha! Yes, that is one solutiont hat could go very far in either direction!

dgriff – AHH! That’s awful! Glad it ended up working out, but it sounded like a nightmare!

    Mike – Haha!!!

Nate – Heh, well I would thinkt hat the hot coffee soaks through quite well! But maybe by the time it reachers.. er… parts… it’s cooled down enough!

PTAoA – Thank you! Yeah, I didn’t really care to write anything about her work situation before, but now I thought it would be pretty fun. And, no worries, no one understands what I do! Not even my friends (well, maybe they do now, but even they have a hard time explaining it)!

Will there be free hot dogs at your grand opening?

  15. Luna

Erg… the client paid, but I had to do an emergency purchase… but I got another one one the hook ;)
