Contributor Spotlight: D. M. Rolfe
A bunch of really great people stepped up to contribute to my 3rd “Imy” book. This year I decided to do something a little special to thank each of them. So I’m going to be posting these posts about them with a little gift for them as a thank you. 🙂
First up is the first person to send me a contribution and that was D. M. Rolfe (Darren) of the hilarious Mighty Monocle comic strip.
The Mighty Monocle, which updates on Mondays, is a great newspaper style comic about a New York’s worst superhero in Great Britain and his sidekick robot-dog, Terry. It’s a brilliant concept and makes me laugh out loud. I just wish Darren would update more than once a week! But it’s sure to brighten up your Monday.
So thanks SO MUCH, Darren for your work in my book, and I hope you like your thank-you gift!
And as for the rest of you, head on over to Mighty MonocleMighty Monocle and start from the beginning if you haven’t already!
Irma,
Thank you so, so much for the cartoon. I’ve been so lucky this year. My work will have featured in two books and it’s just about the coolest experiences. I still get a huge kick from seeing my work in print.
I’m trying to get my head around increasing the schedule. Seriously, I really am. I don’t know when but I’m confident it will increase.
Good luck in New York, Irma I do hope you sell a ton if books. Please say “hi” from me to all of the members of the “webcomic wild bunch” you hang out with at NYCC.
Thanks again for giving me the opportunity.
