A BIG THANKS to Wendy of the comic “Gilbert and the Grim Rabbit” for this super-fun fan art based on the short story arc that just finished up! Go check out her comic!
Hey guys. Things have been really hard in the family recently. I’ve been trying to keep up. Today some of the worst news really brought it all down. Sorry for the spotty updates. Motivation through sadness is rough. I’m trying to regroup for you and for “Imy.” I appreciate your patience.
Yesterday’s “Imy” got cancelled from posting last night because I realized the particular subject matter could have been seen as insensitive if posted at that time. The comic itself is harmless and “Imy” in general is never controversial anyway, so I may have been overthinking it, but I didn’t want to do anything wrong. I tried drawing up a new one quickly, but I had to work all day today and time ran away from me. So at this point the new one will just post on Tuesday instead. The original comic will still be posted someday soon. Just not last night.
My thoughts are with the people of Paris.
WOOP!
When?
Oct 30 – Nov 1
FRIDAY: 10 – 19
SATURDAY: 10 – 19
SUNDAY: 10 – 17 (There are chances that I’ll be leaving earlier on Sunday)
Where?
Friends Arena, Solna, Stockholm, Sweden, Europe, Earth, Solar System, Milky Way Galaxy
Yeah, but WHERE?
For some reason we don’t have table assignments. We have to battle over our tables for their own entertainment. 😉 But we have a section, and it’s C:09. The map is above. So just head to Artist Alley and look for my purple-ish tablecloth.
I’ll be selling all my books (except Vol. 3.0 since that one’s sold out), prints, and original art. I’ll be taking cash, card and Swish.
For more information head to the Stockholm Comic Con website HERE. I hope to see some of you there!
So my computer is fixed and I’ll have all the parts put back together (plus a new tablet which I needed after the computer was fixed and didn’t accept my old Graphire anymore) by the time I return to Sweden later this week.
So “Imy” will be back and running on Tuesday 27/10.
And NONE of my files were lost. Not even the last few comics I did which I thought slept with the fishes along with my hard drive. Thanks to the Genius Bar, that didn’t happen.
I have yet to have the chance to test it all out and make sure everything is working normally, but I don’t expect any issues.
The best part? I didn’t have to sell any limbs to buy a new MacBook!
