What’s so funny about this is that I believe this is the first fan art that involves Jay (Whoops! I was wrong! this is the 2nd! The first one was this one. Sorry Doug!), AND it just so happened to come to me on the week I start focusing on Jay! Chris had no idea, since this came to me before I posted Monday’s comic. Chris has his own comic over at Server 404. I think my fav of his so far is this one. It made me Laugh Out Loud 😀 As you’ll see, he drew Jay according to his own style. I think it’s so cute! Thank you SO MUCH Chris!

Yes! Another fan art about the coffee pot! I never knew the coffee pot would capture people this much! 🙂 I LOVE THIS! Hysterical! I’m sure this is exactly what was going through the coffee pot’s mind through the whole fiasco – especially now that it’s home to Mick the fish.

Matt is a reader who, like most of you out there, is a silent reader. And I just want to say that I appreciate all you silent readers! I don’t ever expect anyone to comment here, and you should never feel like you have to. Most don’t, but I know by my stats that you are coming by, and by the numbers of fans on facebook, and I’m just happy that you come by and read and enjoy twice a week. But it’s extra cool when one of you come out and show yourself like Matt did with this fan art. Thank you SO MUCH Matt!

Monday becomes Tuesday

Monsters of Webcomics

Monsters of Webcomics

So how cool is this? A few of my strips have been chosen to display in the virtual gallery at the Cartoon Art Museum‘s Monsters of Webcomics exhibit! Tom Racine let me know that they were looking for submissions last week. So I went through my strips, chose three (super difficult!), and sent them in. And just 5 minutes ago I got word that I got into the virtual gallery!

The museum is in San Fransisco. The exhibit will run from August 8th until December 6th and will feature 10 prominent webcomics. In addition, there will be a virtual exhibit of roughly 100 other webcomics (Imy will be in there!!) displayed on computer screens.

So if you’re in San Fransisco any time this fall, go stop by! I wish I could see it! Read all about Monsters of Webcomics here, and visit the museum’s site here.

Yes! Another non-Imy “Imy” fanart! 😉 This would be the second one for Zoe. How much do I love this? I love her clothes!! Definitely something a little closer to what I plan on putting her in, in the future. Way cool! Thank you so MUCH PBJ!

PBJ is the creator of I, Secretary: a webcomic about a girl, Simone, who finds herself working as a secretary for a ‘Corporation X,’ which we have yet to figure out what it is exactly (I’m extremely curious!). I have to say that I find the current storyline about Simone trying to figure out excel really funny and relative to my life. When I was a teacher, I had to teach a basic computer class where I taught excel, among other things. I was thrown into teaching this class (even though I didn’t want to) and I had NEVER used excel a DAY in my life. I had gone 4 years in college to get a BS in Computer Science and never once even had to glance at that program. So I basically learned it while I taught it my first year teaching (ex-students read my comic so they may find this funny… or scary LOL). Anyway, enough of my babbling. Go give PBJ some love!
