261 – Countdown
By Irma on September 30th, 2010Posted In: comics
Due to all the extra hours I’ve been working the past few weeks, I’ve had a real hard time managing my time to finish the comic on time. I’ve been able to get it up twice a week, as promised, just not when I’d like to. It’s also been ripping away my sleeping hours from me, which has started to take its toll. And the more tired I get, the slower I draw… begin downward spiral.
Today’s comic is NOT skipped. I just can’t finish. So you’ll see it tomorrow, sometime Friday.
Thanks for your understanding. I’m hoping after my trip to the US I’ll be able to plan out my evenings better.
In the mean time, you should go check out the sweet fan art I did (in watercolor) for Barb Jacobs over at Xylia. So make sure you head on over to see that! (click)
AND go listen to my interview!!! It’s fun! I promise! (click)
Thanks again guys, and come back tomorrow for the comic!
A little over a week ago I was invited on to Comics Coast to Coast for an interview about “Imy,” my first volume, and other things I’ve got going on. It was a LOT of fun to do. Brian’s great fun and we pretty much spent the entire time going off on tangents. But I think it turned out pretty well. So, go have a listen to the podcast right HERE, and let me know what you think!
YEAH BABY. It’s here! Well, not here. It’s somewhere in a family member’s house in NJ. But it EXISTS! A box FULL of Imy Vol 1.0! WOO!!! Even if the other things I ordered don’t arrive for NYCC, I’m SET. I can’t believe it. For a while I was afraid I wouldn’t finish the book, honestly. But it worked out! I can’t wait to have a copy in my hands, and to get to NYCC and start selling. WOO!
If, by some crazy miracle, I end up selling out at NYCC (I know you all needed a laugh, so there is is), then I will be placing a new order while in the US so I’ll receive a new shipment as soon as I get back to Sweden. So, no matter what, I’ll be selling them here on the site in November.
WOO!!

I don’t know what more to write than just “WOW.” Barb’s work always leaves me speechless. She’s one of the most talented people I know, and I’m always honored to get a peice of art from her! A while back she did another one for that I used as a guest strip. Beautiful beautiful BEAUTIFUL work.
Barb does the GORGEOUS graphic novel, Xylia over at xyliatales.com. She’s just come back into the webcomic scene after a hiatus and is ready to bring Xylia back in full swing! SO now is the PERFECT time to head on over there and catch up!
And if anyone from Disney/Pixar is reading this – go over there and snatch her up! You need someone like her there.
THANKS SO MUCH BARB!!!
Last night I went to UStream and drew and painted this little portrait of Mick (sorry, I forgot to record the session!). And now it’s up for sale! Go find it in the webshop!
